MEMBERSHIP MEETING MINUTES
November 29, 2011

1. Call to Order – 7:35 (Thanks to the membership that arrived at 7:00)   Attendance

2. President’s Report: Joe Capozzi
       BOCES Concerns – go on line to see games and confirm on line
            Keep availability up to date (if office calls for a game, you’re open and you refuse, it will cost you
            Look over the rule book and sportorial’s for the latest interpretation
     Joe gave out a handout titled ‘An official’s liability checklist’

3. JohnZeitler – Past President – chair of nominating committee – Members listed for the position they want:
     Vice President – Sam Dominick
                              Chris Tranchina
     Secretary/Treasurer – Rich Krams
     Board of Directors – only 3 can be elected
            Tom Caramella
            Sal Franco
            Joe Gaskin
            Jon Griess
            Jeff Harris
            Al Johnson
           Gasper Scaturro,
     The election will take place at the next meeting

4. Secretary/Treasurer’s Report: Rich Krams
        IAABO refresher exam was collected
        Officials who did not submit the test were notified by me. If I did not contact you, I have received your exam.

4. Interpreter’s Report – Don Landolphi and Jim Graham
     - Web Site - www.board41.org has information on plays and contacting the interpreter. Try it!!
     - Don went over some plays that affect all officials.
     - Don went over the refresher exam answers – They will be posted on the web site

5. Committee Reports:
        Dinner – Sam Dominick - Progress
        Ethics – Dusty Buckley
            Ejections of any kind – players, coaches, spectators you must fill out the Unsportsmanship Report.
            At game site make sure you know the people in charge of security
       OCC – Dennis Cirillo – Progress
       Nominating – John Zeitler – Elections next meeting
       Big Brother Committee – Joe Michalowski
            Now involved with new members and new varsity members
