MEMBERSHIP MEETING MINUTES
December 19, 2011

1. Call to Order – 7:35                   attendance

2. Minutes of previous meeting were posted on the web site.

3. President’s Report: Joe Capozzi – Keep availability up to date with BOCES
         Close dates with your assignors
         Check your e-mails constantly
         Proposal to send $1,000 to the Officials vs. Cancer Drive – Passed

4. Interpreter’s Report: Don Landolphi – work all games correctly –
     use IAABO signals, hustle, be on time
         KNOW THE RULES – contact Don if in doubt
         USE PREVENTIVE TECHNIQUES TO PREVENT FIGHTS
        You will be receiving information (Tips/Taps) from IAABO by e-mail - USE them.

   Election – Past President John Zeitler held elections -Board of Directors – Elected
        Joe Gaskin
        Jon Greiss
        Al Johnson
        Vice President – Elected Chris Tranchina
        Secretary/Treasurer – Elected Rich Krams

5. Secretary/Treasurer’s Report: Rich Krams
       IAABO Refresher exam was marked. Officials who had more than 5 answers wrong had their answer sheets returned. Contact Don Landolphi for clarification of answers
       Dues due by Feb 29 - $100 – Dues and Dinner $80 – Dues
       CHECKS PAYABLE TO – LONG ISLAND DISTRICT BD 41

6. Committee Reports:
       Dinner – Dominick - Progress
       Ethics – Buckley – Report all incidents to Dusty immediately
           Use the form on the web site to report incidents to BOCES
           Be on time for games, dress in required uniform, and dress neatly going to games.
       OCC – Cirillo – next meeting in January
       Big Brother – Michalowski – observers can download reports from web site.
       Scrimmages – Cirillo – there are still some scrimmages open. Go to the web site -         www.board41.org
            Remember it is worth 5 pts of rating
