REFEREE SCHOOL

The 2011 Board 41 Basketball Official’s Course
will begin on Mpmday, September 19th at 7 p.m. at Baldwin High
School. Class size will be limited to forty (40) candidates who will
be accepted on a “first come” basis.
All candidates MUST fill out an
application
and submit a check for $ 200 payable to “Board 41” prior to the
first class. Any applications/checks received after forty (40)
candidates have been selected, will be returned. Only forty (40)
candidates will be permitted.
During our first meeting, our interpreter Don Landolphi will explain
what will be expected of all candidates (attendance, passing grades,
floor tests, and attendance at the Nassau County Top 100.) The class
schedule is as follows:

Introduction, Tools, Class Overview – Rule 4

9/26 Rules 4, 8 & 9
Monday
10/3 Rules 6 & 7 (test)
Tuesday 10/11
Rules 3 & 5 (test)
Monday 10/17
Rules 1 & 2 (Exams)
Monday 10/24
Rule 10 (Exams and Review)
Monday 10/31 Review
Monday 11/7
Written Exam
Additional dates for floor work instruction will be given to those
who pass the written.
In November, Board 41 will hold its Interpretation
Meeting. All candidates who have passed the exam will be invited to
attend.
